Rolex tridor
The Rolex tridor, a highly unusual Rolex that features all three shades of 18K gold: yellow, white and rose.
A Rolex tridor watch case is made from 18k white gold, combined with a yellow gold fluted bezel and crown. The president bracelet makes the tridor really tri-gold, where the centerlinks are made of Rosegold, yellow gold and white gold.
In the 1980’s mixing the three colors of gold was considered chique and used often in Jewelry, Rolex followed the trend with the introduction of the Tridor. With their steel/gold Rolesor, the metals are fully blended and mixed, Rolex made a very distinctive design with the straight lined of the different golds in the president bracelets.
With the tridor it is, 'Love it or hate it’. It was produced from the 1980’s and discontinued in the early 2000’s, it is definitely distinct and it stood out among the rest.
The models made in the tridor configurations are, the Day-Date 36mm, Datejust 31 and the Lady-Datejust 26mm.
