Rolex GMT-Master II 16710

In 1989 Rolex introduced the GMT-Master II. With the GMT-Master II it is possible to read the time is 3 time zones, this in combination with the rotatable bezel and GMT hourhand.

Since the Master-II was in production for over 18 years, they have all the same reference number but a few differences between them.

As for the movement, most of them have the caliber 3185, only the later ones have the 3186. Bracelet wise, they are offered with the oyster and jubilee bracelet, with open or solid endlinks.

From the start until 1997 Tritium material as the luminescent. Then from 1997 until 1999 they used Luminova, you can easily recognise this by the 'swiss' only dial. After that you will find the 'swiss made' dials, which tells us Superluminova is used.
